Join us as we learn to create AI assistants. We will focus on using the OpenAI API, but also discover how to get started with open-source options. We’ll explore their requirements, prices, and limitations. Then we’ll examine how to integrate WhatsApp and Messenger APIs to facilitate communication with bots. Together, we'll develop an application that acts as an intermediary between these two services, enabling seamless interactions with our AI assistant. After building our application, we can explore options for taking it a step further. Some ideas are making the AI assistant initiate the conversation, making the assistant persistent or annoying, and giving us the option to ‘reprogram’ our assistant through messages.
